SALES POLICY

ÉLITE and its divisions sell mainly to retailers. However, we also have a niche market for architects, designers, store planners, and manufacturers.

TERMS

New customers will be required to pay by credit card, money order or wire transfer.

No orders from existing accounts will be shipped without prior credit approval.

In order to obtain credit approval, new customers must complete in full our credit application form and qualify. Once approved, the conditions will be forwarded to the new customer for their acceptance.

PRICING

Prices shown are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue hereof by ÉLITE or from any quotations forwarded, according to the availability of the merchandise. After the expiry of 30 days, prices are subject to change at the discretion of ÉLITE and without notice.

For any customer located within Canada, the prices quoted are in Canadian dollars and payment must be made in Canadian dollars. For the customers located outside Canada, prices must be converted to U.S. dollars and payment must also be made in U.S dollars. These prices do not cover duty, exchange rates or any local taxes charged by your local government.

 SMALL ORDER HANDLING

All order of less than $50.00 will be subject to a handling fee of $50.00. The amount set for the minimum order requirement of $50.00 excludes shipping costs.

CUSTOM OR SPECIAL ORDERS

A 40% deposit is required for all custom or special orders.

CANCELLATION

All cancellations must be communicated immediately. According to the state of the order, a cancellation fee may be required.

REPACKAGING

All our prices are based on the specified quantity and packaging which can change without notice. Any variance of quantity from the one specified package will be considered as a special order.

In some cases, arrangements could be made to repack the product. In these cases, a repackaging fee will be applied.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

DELIVERY Location

ÉLITE will ship everywhere in Canada. However, ÉLITE cannot offer this service to a Postal Code Box (P.O. Box ##). ÉLITE also reserve its right to refuse delivery if the address supplied is incorrect or misleading.

ÉLITE also ships outside of Canada. Freight quotes are only available to Canadian and U.S. destinations and are F.O.B. (Freight on Board). Freight charges will be added to the invoice for shipments outside Canada. Price shown does not include taxes or duties.

DELIVERY TIMES ÉLITE

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. However, delivery times are only estimates.

ÉLITE will try by all means to deliver the goods on the estimated delivery time, but ÉLITE will not assume any liability as a result of shipment delays, third party actions or any other circumstances.

If you must have your shipment on a particular day and/or time, you must request a guaranteed delivery along with the date and time. We can offer a quote for guaranteed services. The guaranteed service will have an additional charge. However, if for any reason, the shipment does not arrive on the guaranteed day and or time, you are only refunded the guaranteed portion of the freight charges. ÉLITE will not assume any liability of shipment delays, third party actions or any other circumstances.

ACCURACY OF DELIVERY ADDRESSES

Please verify your shipping information carefully. We will have to charge you for any change to your address, if made after your order has been shipped.

If there are any address correction redirection fees related to your order, we will contact you and you will be required to pay for it. This could result not only in additional costs but also in undue delay.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

A standard freight rate requires you to take the items off the back of the truck. If the items are too heavy or large, a lift gate can be used to get the shipment to the ground.  An additional fee will be charged. There will also be an extra charge for inside delivery.

If a delivery appointment must be made, there may be an extra charge. Please note that an appointment enables you to have people ready at the delivery time to help unload the truck but it will also generally add at least one additional day to the standard transit time.

If a limited access delivery is required, an additional charge will also be required. The limited access delivery concern locations that cannot receive easily shipments, usually when meeting any of the following conditions: not open to the public during normal business hours, not having access to loading dock or platform, or with limited access related to security restrictions.

ÉLITE must approve any and all additional freight charges before delivery. The driver cannot approve any extra charges such as inside delivery or lift gate. If these services are needed at time of delivery, it may delay your shipment until another day because the driver cannot get approval without calling their company and in return the freight line must call the shipper. This could result not only in additional costs but also in undue delay.

INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

You are obligated to inspect and count the items within a reasonable time before the driver leaves the premise.  Damaged, shortage and/or missing goods must be noted at the time of delivery and witnessed in writing by the driver or it is considered concealed damage or loss after delivery.

If you have received freight that is short or damaged, you must call the freight company and file a claim with them. If you have refused all or part of a shipment, in either case, please call ÉLITE to help you in the process of quick replacement of the damaged or lost items.
